Write notes
With the Notes application, you can create and save short
notes. Files with the .txt (plain ASCII text with no formatting)
and .note.html (formatted text) file extensions are
supported. The full HTML file format is not supported.
Select

Open the Notes menu, and select from the following:
New — Add a new note.
Open — Open an existing note.
Save — Save a note.
Settings — Change the text alignment or file format.
Undo or Redo — Undo or redo an action.
